同时，气象部门指出未来10天华西及周边地区降水集中，局地累计降水量将比常年同期偏多1倍以上1。有关部门提醒湖北西南部、重庆北部等地需警惕山洪、地质灾害及中小河流洪水等灾害风险1。
China's meteorological authorities issued a warning on September 19, alerting that four separate cold air masses will affect northern regions through the end of September 1. The first wave of cold air is already bringing dramatic temperature declines, with some areas experiencing drops close to 20°C 1. Heilongjiang's Aihu district recorded the most severe cooling at 19.4°C 1.
The most intense temperature falls are expected on September 20, with southeastern Inner Mongolia and most of the northeastern region seeing maximum temperature drops of 6 to 10°C 1. Following the cold snap, northwestern and northeastern areas will see maximum temperatures hovering around 20°C, with some localities dropping to approximately 15°C 1.
Beyond the temperature changes, meteorologists are also warning of significant precipitation in the western Sichuan region and surrounding areas over the next ten days, with localized cumulative rainfall expected to exceed normal seasonal averages by more than 100 percent 1. Authorities have cautioned areas including southwestern Hubei and northern Chongqing to remain vigilant against potential flash floods, geological hazards, and flooding in small to medium-sized waterways 1.
