Colello turned herself in to the Livingston Parish Detention Center on Thursday morning and now faces 17 felony charges related to the deceased animals and 37 misdemeanor charges for animal cruelty.1 Among the surviving cats, 12 were suffering from upper respiratory infections and possible ringworm.1 Walker Police Chief David Addison stated that "this type of abuse will not be tolerated in Walker."1
