The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will take place in Guangzhou across three phases from October 15 to November 4, marking the event's 70th anniversary.1 The fair will feature over 32,000 exhibiting enterprises, including more than 11,000 specialized and high-quality companies, spanning a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters.1 Among the products on display, newly launched items account for 23.2% of the offerings while green products represent 26%, both reaching historic highs.1
The 140th edition introduces significant technological innovations to enhance the trading experience.1 For the first time, the fair will showcase 22 intelligent application scenarios and 16 AI-powered special features.1 Notably, 64% of participating enterprises have already adopted advanced technologies such as industrial internet and artificial intelligence in their operations.1 Additionally, 36.5% of exhibitors have successfully transitioned to a business model combining products with services.1
Preparation efforts have generated substantial international interest, with more than 210,000 overseas buyers completing pre-registration as of the announcement date.1
