在跨境基础设施方面，港深西部铁路项目中，香港将于2027年为项目香港段详细设计及建造工程招标，力争于2035年港深两地同步开通香港段和深圳段1。北环线支线项目中，香港将于2026年内完成支线铁路方案刊宪程序，于2028年起陆续开展隧道钻挖工程，目标于2034年同步开通主线和支线1。

Infrastructure connectivity forms another pillar of the strategy, with two major cross-border rail projects set to reshape regional mobility. The Hong Kong segment of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Western Railway will undergo detailed design and construction tendering in 2027, with both sides targeting simultaneous opening of their respective segments in 2035 1. The Northern Link support line will complete statutory procedures within 2026, begin tunnel excavation work from 2028 onward, and is scheduled to open in 2034 alongside the main line 1.
