常沙娜是敦煌研究院首任院长常书鸿之女，现为中国文联"终身成就美术家"1。1952年，21岁的她设计了敦煌藻井元素的"和平鸽丝巾"与景泰蓝"和平鸽大圆盘"，作为新中国第一份国礼1。此后，她于1983年至1998年担任中央工艺美术学院（今清华大学美术学院）院长1。"花开敦煌"展览品牌启动于2014年，已在国内外数十座城市巡回展出1。
The "Flowers Bloom in Dunhuang — Chang Shana Art Research and Application Exhibition" opened at the Shenzhen Art Museum on September 10, showcasing nearly 300 artworks and related documentation 1. Chang Shana, daughter of Dunhuang Research Institute founder Chang Shuxiong and recipient of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles' "Lifetime Achievement Artist" award, played a pivotal role in establishing Dunhuang art as a design resource for modern China 1. In 1952, at age 21, she designed a silk scarf featuring Dunhuang coffered ceiling patterns and a cloisonné "peace dove" plate, which became China's first national gifts for the newly founded People's Republic 1. From 1983 to 1998, she served as director of the Central Academy of Craft and Design, now the School of Art and Design at Tsinghua University 1.
The "Flowers Bloom in Dunhuang" exhibition brand, launched in 2014, has circulated through dozens of cities across China and internationally 1. The current Shenzhen presentation is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Art Museum, Tsinghua University School of Art and Design, and Beijing Xinhuoxiangchuan Cultural Art Co., Ltd. 1.
