China Unicom has announced support for eSIM services across all domestically licensed smartphone models 1. The carrier has specifically enabled eSIM functionality for multiple recently launched Huawei and Apple devices, including the Huawei Mate 80 RS Extraordinary Master, Pura 90 Pro Max, Pura X Max, as well as the iPhone Air, iPhone 17e, and iPhone 18 Pro 1.
To coincide with this expansion, China Unicom is rolling out a promotional campaign targeting the newest Huawei and Apple handsets released this month 1.
