The university's graduate recruitment also demonstrated significant growth and academic strength.1 Among master's degree students, 76% of enrollees came from institutions with doctoral degree-granting authority, while 30% originated from Double First-Class construction universities or were internal transfers.1 The number of recommended admission doctoral candidates reached 1,826 persons, representing an increase of 523 individuals or 40.1% compared to the previous year.1 Direct doctoral admissions totaled 56 students, while overall doctoral enrollment expanded by 92 persons, marking a 15% increase year-over-year, with both figures setting new institutional records.1
To strengthen strategic fields, the university established a new School of Integrated Circuits and admitted the first cohort of students to its Cryptographic Science and Technology program.1 Additionally, Shenzhen University introduced eight dual bachelor's degree programs and twelve specialized high school direct admission classes.1
