On September 11, Yantian District in Shenzhen held a mobilization and deployment conference focused on promoting high-quality development, during which ten specialized task forces were formally established.1 The gathering centered on studying and implementing the spirit of a series of important speeches by Xi Jinping, with the goal of comprehensively building "a beautiful mountain and sea landscape, a new-quality Yantian."1
The ten task forces cover areas including public safety and social governance, investment promotion and enterprise services, as well as land consolidation and spatial optimization.1 The conference also unveiled a working mechanism titled "Going to the frontlines, solving difficult problems, and warming hearts," under which district leaders and municipal departments are assigned to liaise with communities and corresponding urban villages to advance grassroots governance improvements.1 District Party Secretary Lei Weihua and District Mayor Zhao Liang, alongside other members of the district's party and government leadership team, attended the conference.1
Lei Weihua emphasized the need to "identify, adapt to, and pursue change with a spirit of historical initiative," calling for adherence to four orientations: goal orientation, problem orientation, results orientation, and mission orientation.1
