在全球范围内，美国和英国分别以1845种和1815种的期刊数量位居前两位1。近10年创办的世界一流科技期刊中，中国以83种居首，超过美国的67种和英国的56种1。
世界科学引文数据库收录了3.1万种科技期刊，包含2000余万篇文献题录和2.3亿条引文关系数据1。评价指标体系采用9个指标从4个维度进行评价1。
The China Institute of Scientific and Technical Information released the 2025 World-Class Science and Technology Journal Directory in Shanghai on September 12, comprising a total of 6,132 science and technology journals globally 1. Among these, 353 Chinese journals were selected for inclusion 1. The directory was compiled based on the World Science Citation Database and an evaluation metrics system 1.
The United States and United Kingdom led in journal representation, with 1,845 and 1,815 journals respectively 1. Over the past decade, China has established the most world-class science and technology journals among all nations, launching 83 new journals, followed by the United States with 67 and the United Kingdom with 56 1. The underlying World Science Citation Database contains records of approximately 31,000 science and technology journals, over 20 million bibliographic entries, and 230 million citation relationship data points 1.
