The Global Public Safety Cooperation Forum 2026 convened in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province on September 9, 2026, bringing together more than 2,100 representatives from 139 countries, territories, and international organizations 1. During the conference, China proposed the establishment of an International Alliance Against Telecom and Online Fraud in collaboration with relevant nations and regions 1.
The forum, now in its fifth edition since its inaugural meeting in 2022, is designed to strengthen communication among countries in public safety matters and refine global cooperation mechanisms in this field 1. The event carries the theme of "Unity in Advancing Public Safety Governance: Injecting Stability into a Turbulent World" 1. Zeng Weiying, vice chairman of the National Drug Control Commission and chair of the conference, emphasized that global public safety governance faces new challenges 1. To date, the forum has organized over thirty breakout sessions, seminars, and roundtable discussions, collectively engaging nearly 8,000 delegates and experts 1.
