Shenzhen Experimental Education Group convened its 2026 Teachers' Day commendation conference on September 10 at its Guangming campus, centered on the theme "Carrying Forward Glory to Cultivate Teaching Spirit, Passing Down the Teaching Tradition to Foster Backbone Talents."1 The gathering recognized outstanding individuals and teams across seven categories, including educators with ten years of service, teachers exemplifying the "four qualities," outstanding class advisors, excellent mentors, outstanding teams, innovation practice award recipients, and those recognized for outstanding contributions, while also conducting a collective oath-taking ceremony for newly hired faculty members.1
The group currently employs 2,406 full-time teachers and serves over 30,000 students, having expanded considerably since its founding 41 years ago when it had only 67 professional educators.1 Party Committee Secretary Xia Yuhua emphasized that "only when teachers are warmed can students be illuminated; only when teachers have dignity can education truly possess strength," urging all faculty to fulfill the mission of educating people for the Party and cultivating talent for the nation.1
