香港區域法院近日對兩名涉及港獨活動的男子作出判決。27歲的陳泰森和25歲的伍始東因參與「香港民主建國聯盟」推動分裂活動，被控「串謀分裂國家」罪，分別被判處36個月和38個月監禁 1。兩人已於7月初認罪 1。

Two Hong Kong men have been convicted and sentenced for their participation in the Hong Kong Democratic Building Alliance, an organization deemed to promote Hong Kong independence. Chen Taisen, 27, and Wu Shidong, 25, pleaded guilty to charges of "conspiracy to split the state" under Hong Kong's national security law and were sentenced by the District Court to 36 and 38 months imprisonment, respectively.1
The two men were involved in activities between November two years ago and July of last year, during which they allegedly produced party emblems, created propaganda materials, and drafted proposals for sanctioning mainland Chinese and Hong Kong officials.1 Both men admitted to their charges in early July.1
The Hong Kong Democratic Building Alliance was established by Jiang Jiawei on November 6, 2024, and was subsequently banned from operating in Hong Kong by the Security Bureau in late last year.1 In July of last year, four members of the alliance were arrested for suspected violations of the national security law, with one male student among them receiving a prison sentence of 42 months.1
