During 2025, Chinese courts handled 6,061 cases of international judicial assistance, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.4 percent 1. Over the five-year period from 2021 to 2025, courts across China concluded 128,000 first-instance foreign-related civil and commercial cases, a 65 percent rise compared to the preceding five-year span 1. The parties involved in these cases represented more than 100 countries and regions 1.
