The impact is evident across the sector. One Beijing-based AI company reports that its research and development team incurs average monthly per-capita costs exceeding 6,000 yuan in token usage fees.1 Meanwhile, individual enterprises have faced substantial pricing pressures; for instance, Jiangsu Shenghui Information Technology secured a 12-month computing power service lease on Nantong's public computing platform at an original price of 504,000 yuan, which was reduced to 252,000 yuan after receiving a 50 percent subsidy.1
To address these challenges, multiple regions have launched targeted interventions. Guizhou Mobile introduced its "Token Factory" service, which allows users to pay only for actual token consumption without requiring them to build their own intelligent computing clusters.1 According to Dong Yu, associate dean of Tsinghua University's Institute for China Development Planning, the current round of price increases reflects a medium to long-term supply-demand imbalance.1 Experts recommend that the national government establish unified standards for computing power voucher subsidies to coordinate incentive policies for domestic computing resources.1
