中央纪委国家监委9月9日通报，第二十届中央委员、十四届全国人大社会建设委员会原副主任委员孙绍骋因严重违纪违法被开除党籍和公职1。经中央纪委常委会会议研究并报中央政治局会议审议，决定给予孙绍骋开除党籍处分，国家监委同时给予其开除公职处分，并终止其党的二十大代表资格1。其涉嫌犯罪问题已移送检察机关依法审查起诉1。
孙绍骋生于1960年7月，山东海阳人1。他曾任民政部副部长、山东省副省长、山西省委常委、国土资源部党组书记、退役军人事务部部长、内蒙古自治区党委书记等重要职务1。今年1月，孙绍骋被查1。
通报指出，孙绍骋主要违纪违法行为包括丧失理想信念、背弃初心使命、贯彻落实党中央决策部署打折扣、履行全面从严治党责任不力、对抗组织审查、搞迷信活动、违反中央八项规定精神、违规收受礼金、纵容子女利用职务影响谋取私利、利用职权为亲属经营活动谋利、非法收受巨额财物等1。
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced on September 9 that Sun Shaoqing, a member of the 20th Central Committee and former vice chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the 14th National People's Congress, has been expelled from the Communist Party and removed from public office due to serious violations of Party discipline and law.1 Sun, born in July 1960 and a native of Haiyang, Shandong Province,1 held several significant positions throughout his career, including deputy minister of Civil Affairs, vice governor of Shandong Province, standing committee member of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, party group secretary of the Ministry of Land and Resources, minister of Veterans Affairs, and party secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.1
The disciplinary investigation revealed multiple serious violations including loss of ideals and convictions, betrayal of original mission, failure to comprehensively implement central Party decisions, inadequate fulfillment of Party governance responsibilities, obstruction of organizational investigations, engagement in superstitious activities, violations of the central Party's eight-point decision on improving work style, illegal acceptance of gifts, acceptance of substantial illicit property, indulgence of relatives' use of official influence for private gain, abuse of official authority to benefit relatives' business interests, and toleration of children exploiting his position for personal advantage.1 Sun was placed under investigation in January of this year.1
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's standing committee meeting recommended expulsion from the Party, which was approved by the Central Political Bureau, while the National Supervisory Commission concurrently issued an order removing him from office and terminating his status as a delegate to the 20th Party National Congress.1 His suspected criminal conduct has been transferred to prosecutorial authorities for legal review and indictment.1
