Jeriah Mast, a 45-year-old from Millersburg, Ohio, has entered a guilty plea to federal charges of sexually abusing two boys in Haiti 1. The prosecution has agreed to a sentencing range of 25 to 33 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for December 15 1.
Mast confessed to authorities in 2019 that he had sexually abused more than 30 boys in Haiti and four children in Ohio 1. His missionary work through Millersburg-based Christian Aid Ministries spanned from 2002 to 2019 1. The victims in the current case were between 12 and 16 years old at the time of the abuse 1. In 2019, Mast was sentenced to nine years in prison for the Ohio offenses and was granted early release and placed on probation in October 2025 1. Two managers at Christian Aid Ministries were suspended in 2019 after it was discovered they had known of Mast's 2013 admission of guilt but continued to employ him 1.
